Finally done ;)

This is my second leather craft thingy - a sword sheath for my (or better my friend's) larp claymore.
The sheath is about 43 inches in lenght (110cm), with an embeveled (self-designed) pattern on it.
It's dyed with two layers: acrylic resolene ([link]) as a color blocker and a mid-brown antique gel ([link]).
It's a 0.12 inches strong cowhide and is lined with faux fur (to protect the latex sword).
The hanger is a snap hook - so it can be easily hanged on a belt.

Da entdeck ich das wirklich erst jetzt ... Wow! Sieht klasse aus. Das Problem mit dem Schwertgehänge ist wohl so eine Frauensache (vor allem, wenn man kurze Beine hat). Alles was über Kurzschwert hinaus geht schleift bei mir entweder über den Boden oder schlägt mit dem Knauf gegens Kinn ... ;)

Schertgehänge sind eh nicht so praktisch - waren sie nie... Entweder es ist fest am Gürtel installiert, wackelt nicht, aber dafür musst du dir deine Sitzgelegenheit weise auswählen - oder aber man kann es praktischerweise aushaken, dafür ists eine mörderische Lauf-und Rennfalle xD
Eine Banderole mit Gürtelriemen muss her! Schleunigst!

Banderolen gibts nur bei Lederjoe - aber die sind so... Hexenjäger, die erkennt man auf Kilometer xD

Hehe, selber gemacht ist eh (fast) immer besser. Hast du was dagegen, wenn ich doch nochmal irgendwann so in den nächsten 12 Monaten wegen 'ner Dolchscheide auf dich zurückkomme? :)

Nö - habe nix degegen.
Mag halt nur den vollen Preis für das Leder erstattet bekommen und anteilig für den Aufwand (bin aber nicht teuer).
Können wir gerne im September abquatschen oder via ICQ :)

Super, und ganz großes Danke schonmal! :) Vor September ist der Dolch garantiert nicht fertig, passt also :) Preis dürfte auch kein Ding sein. Wäre dann auch orientalischer Stil.
