Art Deco Haru

My part of the art-trade with beautiful - her OC Haru.

I like it quite a lot - regarding how much adversities I faced drawing this one
First of all - I'm at my parents-in-law place so that means crappy-slow internet. I wanted to print out my digitally drawn sketch in order to line it, scan it and then again print it on watercolor paper. But NO, the printer here only prints in DINA4. ONLY.
Soooo I drew the sketch again on watercolor paper and wanted to draw a smooth and clean circle - but guess what? I forgot my compasses at home. And didn't find any here.
Then, 3/4 of the whole drawing process it looked just awfull. The colors were boring and the shading was just not what I expected it to look like.
But slowly it started to look better after I forced myself not to throw this painting in the bin.
And voilá - it looks quite acceptable :>
